This is the home of Geocaching information and stuff that I found around the net regarding Geocaching - my new favorite sport.

My boys (Evan and Eron) and I started Geocaching on a wonderful Saturday morning of March 12th. We found 9 caches that day alone and have fallen in love with the sport.  We settled on a geocaching handle of "GeoJewett" as it best fits our family as team cachers, myself as a lone cacher, and our desire to cache everywhere we can.   Since we have successfully created a couple of cache hides, documented on this site.  As we travel around Texas and the different states (and hopefully other countries soon) we hope to undercover many more caches.

I have acquired several geocoin trackables and have set them out on specific missions to see what kind of results we get back. Check out this site and what what we have put out there.

We are always interested in hearing about the clever caches that people have put together, and want to encourage more unique caches that get the "Wow!" or "Cool!" exclamation when they are found based on the cache design and the location.  We have really enjoyed some really cool ones.  We really encourage geocachers to make sure they mark their logs really well with official geocaching wording and logos, as I think many that are muggled are because people have no idea what they are when found accidentally.
